Michigan Agenda

4:30 p.m. – Bourbon Tour to Buffalo Trace Distillery (buses leave at 5:00 p.m.)
• Dress: Casual/Favorite Scottish Rite shirt (there will be walking)
• Pick up at Omni Hotel – side (Liberty) street entrance
• Trip to Buffalo Trace (beverages will be provided)
• Tour of distillery
• Shopping opportunity with gift shop & special Bourbon options for purchase
• Cocktail Reception
• Dinner of Filet/Shrimp duet
• Return back to Hotel around 10:00 p.m.

Non-Candidates: Day of leisure for all Michigan attendees

1:00 p.m. – Slugger Museum and Tour*

4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Vesper Service (Candidates/guests must attend. All welcome.)
• Louisville Palace Theatre.

• Dress: Gentleman: Jacket & Tie Ladies: Dress or Dress slacks

5:30 p.m. – **Candidate Celebration (**Candidate and guest only.)
• Louisville Marriott Hotel.

• Dress: What you wear to Vesper Service as you will go directly to the dinner

For all Attendees other than the Candidates, Dinner is on your own this evening.

6:00 p.m. – Hospitality Room / Germantown Banquet Room Omni Hotel
• Snacks and beverages.

• Michigan Members and Guests.
• Candidates/Spouses will join after Candidate Dinner.

* Slugger Museum and Factory Tour are self-guided, and 1st come 1st serve tickets on either day.

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – General Session
• Louisville Palace Theatre.

• Dress: Jacket & Tie. Ladies: Dress or Dress slacks

2:00 p.m. – Slugger Museum and Tour*

6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – NMSRJ Supreme Council Entertainment
• Churchill Downs & The Kentucky Derby Museum.*

• Dress: Casual / Favorite Scottish Rite Shirt (There will be walking so comfortable shoes are suggested)

There will be no Michigan hospitality room due to tonight’s Supreme Council entertainment.
• Everyone enjoy and be sure to stop by Michigan’s Suite at the tracks, #4110 &  #4111.

Churchill Downs & The Kentucky Derby Museum

Attendees must wear their credentials to attend.
We cannot stress this enough. Due to the size of the event and the number of attendees you will not
be admitted on the bus or into the venue without your credentials.

5:45 p.m. – first buses leave. They will run all night long as will all the activities at the
BUSING: Busing will begin at 5:45pm- we will have five buses at each hotel that will go on a loop to Churchill. It will take each bus about 30 minutes to go to Churchill and come back. There will be staff person from the busing company at each loading area that will be able to give members an ETA on returning buses. Buses will be on a loop and guests will be able to come and go as they please.

FOOD & BEVERAGE: Every floor and location at Churchill will have a complimentary buffet available from 6:30p.m.-8:30 p.m. as well as a cash bar available.
Starting Gate Suites 4, 5 & 6 have ample banquet seating available- the rooftop will have a live band and
cocktail tables. Homestretch Club will have a three-piece band, a hat making station, and cigar station.
Members can purchase tickets to participate in either activity at the Supreme Council table. 

KENTUCKY DERBY MUSUEM: The Kentucky Derby Museum will not have any food and beverage but is an amazing experience and I highly recommend everyone take the time to experience The Greatest Race. The gift shop will be available during our event. Outside food and beverage is prohibited.

DRESS CODE:  Dress for the Kentucky heat as well as wear comfortable shoes. With the exception of the rooftop, every space will be air conditioned.

RAFFLES: The three raffle winners will be announced live on the rooftop at 8:00 p.m. There is not enough room on the rooftop for everyone, so Supreme Council staff will also place signs at each location within Churchill Downs noting the winning ticket numbers. The winners will have until 9:45 p.m. to claim their prize, winners must be present at Churchill and present winning ticket to claim the prize. Everyone who purchases a raffle ticket will receive a card with this information on it.

8:00 a.m. – Candidate Breakfast Germantown Banquet Room – Omni Hotel
• Candidates will meet with Actives for final instruction and last meal before dinner that evening.

11:00 a.m. – Ladies Luncheon Germantown Banquet Room – Omni Hotel
• Celebration for the Ladies of our new Candidate’s

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Candidate Photographs
• Marriott Ballroom Salon 6, 2nd Floor, Louisville Marriott Downtown.

• Dress: Full Dress Tails.

3:00 p.m. – Conferral of the 33°
• Louisville Palace Theater.

• Dress: Full Dress Tails.
• No regalia – wear credentials.

4:30 p.m. – Ladies will gather for bus ride to Seelbach Hotel
• Pick up at Omni Hotel – side entrance

• Photo Op of – “Penguin Walk”.
• Dress: Formal

5:30 p.m. – Reception for Michigan State Dinner.
• Walk from Palace Theater to Seelbach Hotel (3 blocks).

• Introduction and toast our new 33° Members.
• Photo-Op.

6:30 p.m. – Michigan State Dinner at Seelbach Hotel
